The KORE belt setup is similar to a lot on the market in that it is a 2 part belt system. There is an inner belt to hold up the pants, that is velcro lined. And then the outer belt that marries up to it with velcro as well. On top of that, the outer belt is PALS / MOLLE compatible.
But here is where the similarities stop. The buckle on the B1 KORE Battle Belt has micro-adjustments. Thanks to the buckle design with corresponding teeth, the belt sizes securely in 1/4 inch increments. So if you add layers of clothing in the winter, or your body fluctuates in weight at all, you still have a perfect fit. Unlike with traditional webbing through a cobra buckle which ends up taking a set.
The belts come extra long and is cut and assembled to fit. This lets you cut your belt to exactly the right size, rather than confusing belt sizing charts you’ll sometimes find.
