Brownells has done a pretty amazing job with their line of Retro Clone Rifles. The XBRN177E2 is no exception. Their XM177 Clone is a rad little carbine.
I used the rifle to compete in the Retro Division of Desert Brutality 2020, a shooting event put on by KE Arms and InRange TV. It did great for me down there and ran flawlessly.
When it comes to accuracy, the 1/12 twist barrel definitely likes the lighter loads. It can’t stabilize heavier bullets past probably 62 grains.
