If you aren’t familiar with the Modern Minuteman Course, it is pretty awesome. It is a two day course that blends learning and competition. Day one is dedicated to time on the range as well as learning the fundamentals of land navigation. Both map and compass as well as GPS and some practical exercises thrown in as well.
Then on day two, after Bill Rapier’s mindset talk, it is time for the competition. The competition is a land nav race intermixed with challenges. Some of the challenges are shooting, some are skill based or physical. All in all an awesome time.
