Today I take a 1st Look at the New Brownells BRN-180. A retro clone of the original AR-18 from ArmaLite. This particular model has a 10.5″ 5.56 barrel and uses a short stroke piston system, which alleviates the need for a buffer tube. This opens the option up for folding stocks and braces, such as the New SB Tactical TF1913. I look forward to putting in more time with this little piece of history.
