In the beginning of April 2020, my buddy and I set out on an adventure into the mountains. Since it was still winter where we were going, we had more gear than we cared to carry on our backs. So we stopped off at the hardware store and picked up some kids sleds. We then made a few modifications and turned them into pulks. I hadn’t been on Cross Country skis since I was a kid, but I made it work.
It was an awesome experience and there was tons of learning that happened throughout the entire adventure. It is good to get away and into the mountains. It always provides the opportunity to learn, put you and your gear to the test, clear your mind and recharge.
