1st Look: A Pile-O-Gear

Today I take a look at a whole bunch of cool gear from some rad companies…

Something I am really excited to try out is a new optic / rangefinder setup. I have the new Leupold Mk5 HD 3.6-18 with the Tremor 3 Reticle. This has all of the holds for elevation and wind in it. And to make the most of it, I’ll be pairing it with the Vortex Impact 4000 range finder. Giving you an onboard rangefinder with your ballistic solution so you can quickly and easily do all of your work in the optic. Of course I need to mount it all, so I got an awesome setup from Hawkins Precision with built in bubble level and diving board.

And then there is the sling… My buddy Kyle Lamb sent me one of his awesome slings. The HYDURA model, a hybrid of cordura. If you want to get the most out of a sling, you need a tail.

And some gear for the range and the backcountry. The new combat pants and sun shirt by OTTE Gear. Lots of cool features built into those. Then, the Qui-Ya Light Pack by Hill People Gear, coupled with the Prairie Belt.

Looking forward to putting in time with all of this new gear and brining you full reviews.
