Back at it for Day 2 of The Tactical Games in North Carolina (2019). This games had an extra Battle (stage) for Elite Competitors. You were told to show up at 0445 in the morning with a headlamp or light source and sturdy footwear. By 0500 we stepped off on about a 5 mile ruck run with 45/50lbs packs. Great way to start the day…
After that, we got started with the other 3 Battles of Day 2. I made my way through them, rocking my Brownell’s Retro M16E1 and a 1911A1, complete with M-56 web gear and jungle boots. When the dust settled, I came in 18th in the Elite Division out of 40 athletes. Not to shabby for being that far behind the power curve gear wise.
