When it comes to magazines for the AR-15 family of firearms, the SureFeed E2 by Okay Industries is probably my favorite…
Magazines can make or break a gun, because if they don’t feed ammo, the gun won’t run. I have been very pleased with the SureFeed E2 on a number of levels. For starters, reliability. They run. I haven’t ran into any magazine related malfunctions with any of my SureFeed magazines.
The other things I really like about the SureFeed E2 is how light they are. They are lighter than your polymer PMags. And on top of that, they have a texture to them. Not enough to be abrasive, but enough that they are easy to grip in most any condition.
And while Okay Industries doesn’t claim the SureFeed E2 are good for anything other than 5.56 / .223 I have had them do a great job with 300 Blackout. Mainly super sonic 300Blk. I’m sure there are some long heavy subsonic loads that wouldn’t play well, but they’ve done great for me in my Honey Badger and Honey Badger SD by Q.
You can find the SureFeed E2 Magazines through a number of places, to include Shooting Surplus.
