Sig P320 XFIVE Legion

If you are looking for a competition built pistol, the Sig Sauer P320 XFIVE Legion might be just what you’ve been searing for…

The Sig X5 Legion is a pistol that was designed for competition. They developed a pretty amazing way to infuse the polymer grip module with tungsten, increasing the weight significantly. This in turn presents an edge over other polymer framed pistols when it comes to most competitions.

I’ve used the original P320 XFive while competing in the Tactical Games and then later, the XFIVE Legion while competing in Desert Brutality 2020 as well as shooting it in a Level 2 Pistol Course put on by Ian of Runenation.

Overall I think it is a great pistol that offers the user not only a turn key competition pistol, but a path into the modular world of the Sig P320 series…

I tested a variety of ammunition that I had on hand…
Personally I’m a fan of flat faced triggers, to include those that come on the X5 series.
While I like the aesthetic of the Legion magazines, I wish they stuck out more and where of a higher capacity.
The ability to add a red dot is a nice feature of the XFIVE Legion.
