ROKC (Red Oktober Kalashnikov Championship) is a really fun shooting competition centered around Communist / Soviet Block weapons, like the AK-47 and AK-74, as well as some other fun ones.
They have a bunch of different classes around the guns as well as gear. I competed in the Heavy Open Division with “Kit”. So I started each stage with rifle rated armor plates, helmet, 1 full liter of water and a blade over 4″ in addition to 120 rounds.
And for Red Oktober After Dark, I used largely the same gear with the addition of some pretty sweet Night Vision and accessories…
