They come in a rechargeable case that keeps them safe when not in use and fully charged. While they have two different ear tips, I find the foam ones to be most comfortable. You can also upgrade to the Comply Foam Tips. They offer two different volume settings that let you hear ambient noises as well as talk conversationally, but cut out high decibel sounds like gunfire.
If you spend a lot of time on the range, they are probably a solid investment. Especially since they aren’t effected by eye pro (glasses) or hats, beanies or helmets.
