Well, it is time to start Chapter 2 in the chronicles of my Custom 300 PRC build…
While I have spent a lot of time with this rifle in its longer configuration, it is time for a few changes. For starters, I sent my Anti-X action back to Defiance for Nitride. It is an amazing coating that comes with some awesome properties.
And since why not, lets try a shorter barrel. So I headed back down to Helix 6 Precision and they cut the barrel down to 17″ and recrowned and threaded it. It will be much handier moving through trees being 5″ shorter…
I can’t wait to get out and put some more time behind this really fun build.
