MCX SPEAR-LT in 7.62×39

Today I take a look at the Sig Sauer MXC SPEAR-LT in 7.62×39.

I’ll open with, this gun is a ton of fun to shoot. The “need” is very narrow for a very special end-user, but did I mention it is fun? It’s lineage is the MCX line as well as the SPEAR rifle from the NGSW program. There are a lot of similarities in the controls and design to the aforementioned.

While I love the 7.62×39 cartridge, it doesn’t generally play well with the AR pattern magazines. However the Duramag that they ship with has done awesome. Regrettably that caliber is no longer as cheap as it used to be.

If you are looking for a fun gun, this might be it. Definitely recommend it with a suppressor though…
