While most suppressors for rifles let you shoot smaller centerfire rounds through them, such as using a .30 caliber can to shoot 6.5 Creedmoor or 5.56 through, they won’t let you shoot rimfire. Namely because rimfire suppressors need to be user serviceable to clean.
The Lynx however, lets you shoot 5.56 / .223 through any 16″ or longer barrel in addition to rimfire rounds. Which is really cool. It does a pretty good job on 5.56, especially considering the size and weight, and also sounds great on .22s. This together makes it a great 1st suppressor if you mainly shoot those two calibers.
