Struggle, pain, adversity… All are wonderful teachers. When we train people, as much as we want them to succeed, we need to allow failure. Whether we are teaching room clearing with M-4s in a kill house, or how to ride a bike to a child. Find that balance of risk and value to maximize the lesson.
