In this video I go over how to adjust Q’s Adjustable Gas Block for both reliability and a smooth recoil impulse. By tuning the system so that it gets enough gas to always cycle, but no so much that it unnecessarily beats up you or the gun.
When adjusting the gas on my Honey Badger SD, I make sure I tune the system to Subsonic 300 Blackout. This ensures that it will function reliably with subsonic loads as well as supersonic loads.
**Note that if you shoot your gun a lot before adjusting the gas, the adjustment screw may seize due to the heat and carbon. You can try soaking it in a gun cleaning agent.**
