While the whole procedure can be done with a Q Barrel Nut Wrench and a T-25 Torx bit, there are some other pieces of gear I would recommend that will make your life easier. Chief among them would be a set of Fix-It-Sticks. They’ll make your life a lot easier, not only for this task, but most everything else. In addition to those, a Torque Wrench in Foot Pounds, Magazine Vice Block and bench vice.
