In my opinion, this largely has the best of both worlds for a pistol optic. First of all, you have an enclosed emitter, which is a big deal. This keeps debris out of the optic, be it rain, mud, dirt, or snow, so that you can actually use your optic. Even if the lens gets obscured, you can easily wipe it off.
Secondly, you have the ACSS Vulcan Reticle by Primary Arms. It is comprised of a Chevron, which gives you a precise aiming point, coupled with a giant circle. The circle aids in immediately centering the chevron in the optic by giving you an optical correction if you gun is not lined up perfectly on your eye. This lends itself to new shooters as well as shooting from unconventional shooting positions.
