When it comes to hand stops or barricade stops, the best thing I’ve used to date is the GripStop by True North Concepts. They are incredibly robust, machined out of aircraft grade aluminum here in the USA, and weigh about 2 oz. with hardware.
If you are unfamiliar with hand stops, they can do a number of things for you. From providing a reference for any switches or buttons you have one your rifle or pistol (tactical lights or lasers), or giving you purchase to pull the gun back into your shoulder, creating a more stable shooting position.
The GripStop works great as a barricade stop as well. You can press the GripStop into a surface to stabilize your rifle or AR pistol, allowing for more precise shots.
They are offered in two sizes and can be mounted directly to M-LOK hand guards. Additionally you can purchase a version made to mount to picatinny rail if your firearm doesn’t have a M-LOK hand guard.
