Continuing my series on Flash Mitigation, we look at the Honey Badger by Q as the host and cycle through all of the .30 caliber silencers that Q LLC makes. Both the Trash Panda and Thunder Chicken that thread onto the Cherry Bomb muzzle device, and the direct thread cans, Half Nelson, Full Nelson and the Honey Badger SD Silencer.
For this I shot a series of 4 rounds of 300 Blackout. Starting with 147gr Supersonic by Gorilla Ammo, 187gr Subsonic by Gemtech and 220gr Subsonic TMJ by Minuteman Munitions.
Since the Q Silencers were designed with weight being a big criteria, they are all made of titanium. This can lead to flashing sometimes. But back to the purpose of the series, what is your mission, how do you use your suppressors, what kind of ammo do you shoot…?
