After a hiatus, I managed to get back out to the range with my CZ 527 Carbine, chambered in 7.62x39mm. I had a problem with erratic groups and found that where the action beds into the stock, it was busted. I did a questionable glass bedding job on it, and get back to the range.
Today I try out some 123gr. Round Nose Soft Point ammo by PPU (Prvi Partizan). It didn’t shoot that great for me, but the cold wasn’t really helping either. But, at least I got some time behind my little bolt action rifle…
It isn’t snow on the ground, it is just frozen with some semi-permanent frost. It made for some cold shooting…
