Here is the continued story of my vanilla Glock 19 I got from Shooting Surplus and the journey it has been through…
After first getting the Glock 19, I put the Radian Ramjet and Afterburner, comp and barrel on it. Being one of the first compensators they made, it ran into a few issues and Radian refined the unit. With the new one installed, it was time to do some more shooting.
Glock factory sights are the worst though. So I went to my local gun shop, East County Guns, and they threw some good sights on there. After some more shooting, what was really missing, was an optic. And as luck would have it, Primary Arms just came out with a enclosed emitter optic using their ACSS Vulcan reticle, through Holosun.
So through some local companies I continued the journey of this pistol. Floyds Customs does some amazing slide work on all kinds of guns. And while the optic is a new footprint, they quickly programed it into their CNC machine and cut the slide.
Next, since raw metal was exposed, the guys over at EDC Kustoms did a Cerakote job on it. It came out amazing. Basically looking like a Star Wars blaster now…
When I get more time with the gun, optic, comp and barrel, I’ll bring you a full review.
