Building an AK is unlike assembling any AR. It is a night and day difference. It really surprised me how much hand fitting was involved too. Keeping in mind, the hand fitting was a result of the QC involved with Rifle Dynamics.
The Quickhatch is really cool little gun too. A 9″ barreled AK with folding brace and an awesome handguard collaboration with Occam Defense. The hand guard lets you actually mount optics, lights, lasers, etc. Giving the gun some modern capabilities.
