Clint Smith basically wrote the book. Originally penning the curriculum for Urban Rifle back in 1983. The idea of using a rifle at pistol distances. Which big picture, is how most everyone uses their carbines now.
I had an awesome time down there at Thunder Ranch attending the 3 Day Urban Rifle Course. Crawl, walk, run. From zeroing to movement, shooting moving targets and working together with a teammate. Overall an awesome course.
