2021 Coast to Coast Tour – Part 26

Part 26 of the 2021 Coast to Coast Tour brings us to our last “Official” Range Day! Having wound our way across America, it is time for our 8th range day with Brownells outside of Grinell, Iowa…

Once again we had a rad time out on the range shooting through some amazing firearms. From our title sponsor, Q LLC, we had their whole lineup. People got to shoot The Fix Rifle in .308, Honey Badger Pistol with Trash Panda Silencer, the Honey Badger SD and even my prototype 5.56 Sugar Weasel. And every silencer they make, to include a number of Erector9 cans…

Honey Badger & Trash Panda = Peanut Butter & Jelly

We had the Erector9s on a few Hi-Points and a ZEV. Both the 995 Carbine as well as the Gen1 Yeet Cannon. And a ZEV OZ9 with a threaded barrel that was sent out too. Tons of fun shooting subsonic suppressed 9mm.

Radian Weapons also sent out a few of their amazing Model 1 AR-15s. A 10.5″ pistol with Scalarworks PEAK Iron Sights and a 17.5″ rifle with a EOTech and Magnifier. They are like laser beams…

We had some cool guns by Brownells too. Their BRN-180 piston retro clones. One chambered in 300 Blackout and one in 5.56mm. Both with the Q Cherry Bomb and suppressors.

Sawtooth Rifles sent out a custom bolt action rifle as well. A incredible gun that actually won the 2018 USASOC Sniper Challenge. Chambered in .308 with the direct thread Full Nelson Silencer on it and a 5-25 MPO Scope by Brownells.

Sugar Weasel: Serial Number 1.

If you like AK-47s, we had the ODS-1775 Pistol sent out by Occam Defense. Probably the most amazing AK you’ll shoot. Made in Moscow… …Idaho of all places.

Also out there was the iconic Knights Armament SR-25 sent out by Shooting Surplus. Topped with a ATACR 1-8 by Nightforce in a Unity Tactical Mount. And a B.E. Meyers MAWL-C1+ for good measure…

Lastly, some of the most fun guns, we had some .22s out there. A Glock 44 with Erector .22 silencer, Ruger Charger in the SB Tactical Chassis and my son’s Savage Rascal that was SBR’d. So much fun to shoot suppressed .22s.

I’ve said it before and it still stands true, the people make it. A great group of people came out to take part in this range day. Traveling from all over, making their way to Searsboro, IA. Awesome people, amazing guns, a rad time…
