Here we are with Part 10 of the 2021 Coast to Coast Tour. Bringing us to our 3rd Range Day at the Cameo Shooting & Education Complex outside of Grand Junction, CO.
If you have never been to the Cameo Range, I would encourage you to go. It is an amazing facility that also happens to be one of the most beautiful ranges I’ve been to. They have everything too, from archery to trap, biathlon course to long range. All of it…
Our range day was awesome. A great time to shoot some amazing guns by Q LLC, our title sponsor. The Fix Rifle in .308, Honey Badger Pistol, Honey Badger SD, all of their cans, to include the Erector9 on a ZEV OZ9 as well as a Hi-Point Carbine and Yeet Cannon Gen 1.
We also had some of the Brownells BRN-180 piston ARs out there. Chambered in 300 Blackout and 5.56. And speaking of 5.56, how about the most amazing AR-15s, the Radian Model 1. One with a 10.5″ barrel and one with a 17.5″ barrel. A few of which will be auctioned off in support of SOC-F (Special Operations Care Fund).
Also in attendance was the Knights Armament SR-25 sent out by Shooting Surplus. A few fun .22 pistols and what not. And even Occam Defense 1775 AK. Probably the most amazing AK made today. As well as a custom bolt gun by Sawtooth Rifles.
What really made it was the people though. A great group of guys showed up and we had a ton of fun out there celebrating a little bit of freedom. We even had a few little shooting challenges. The winner receiving a new pair of Magpul Glasses as well as a jacket from Prometheus Design Werx.
Good times had by all…
