Here are my 1st Shots with my Lancaster Pennsylvania Style Flintlock Rifle I built with Jim Chambers Flintlocks…
It didn’t quite go to plan due to a couple factors. For starters, as it turns out, it is not a .54 caliber rifle, it is a .50 caliber rifle… Having the wrong size ammunition creates problems. Once I got that squared away, I headed back out to the range to fire it. And unfortunately got given the wrong nozzle for my powder, which slowed things down a bit. All in all, I’m looking forward to putting in more time with the rifle and getting more experience shooting muzzleloader guns.
