Looking back, on not only the SCORE International Baja 1000 Off Road Race, but all the off road racing I did… …there are some takeaways.
When you look at a BIG Adventure, it can seem insurmountable. This is bullshit, what it takes is a little moxie. The willingness to step out of what is comfortable, pursue something big and be willing to fail. I literally did not finish a single race. That did not in any way diminish the fun I had, memories I made or experience I gained.
As it turns out, I won a pretty damn awesome trophy…
