Summer trips into mountains are awesome, here is one I enjoyed with my boys in July of 2023.
More and more I appreciate my time with my two boys. Being able to go spend a night in the mountains with them is awesome. It usually follows the same trajectory as most backpacking trips too. The beginning is filled with complaints on the hike, about how it wasn’t their choice to go and they’d rather be somewhere else, to eventually acceptance, to finally just having a blast and them being grateful for the adventure. 🙂
