Probably one of the most fun competitions out there. This largely hinges on the different divisions that you can shoot in coupled with the crowd it draws. Divisions that let you just get out and shoot some fun different guns. Not to mention the Trooper Division where you carry all your gear with you for the whole day, hike in and hike out. Or the Armored +P where you end up having to wear rifle rated plates, a plate carrier, ballistic helmet, full loadout of rifle and pistol ammo at every stage, med kit, fixed blade knife and water…
While they do have a Manual Division for bolt actions, lever actions and the like, since I had detachable magazines, I competed in the Assault Rifle Irons division. With my MiniFix by Q LLC chambered in 6.8 SPC II and some Scalarworks PEAK Irons Sights on it. It was a ton of fun. 🙂
