Barrel Break-In, it is not rocket surgery…
I got together with Matt Yore of Sawtooth Rifles to go over a Barrel Break-In procedure. Big picture and takeaways, get useful information, like a decent zero and speed for your ammo your’e shooting, and have fun. Take the time to shoot your new gun.
Don’t get wrapped up in chasing tiny groups or anything else. Get the needed information and shoot your rifle. The barrel will change and the next outing you can refine your zero and get some more speeds, maybe start trying some different ammo or load development. But don’t overthink it…
