Oh Rationalization… It is so much easier to create excuses than to deal with things as they are. For a long time I rationalized away 3 Gun Competitions as a game with no tactical training value. That was me rationalizing not competing, and therefore, not facing my shortcomings as a shooter. I now feel there is a lot of value to 3 Gun. It is humbling to step outside of what is comfortable, but that is how we learn and grow.
The path towards excellence is rarely an easy one…
