Unbroken time with family is some of the most important time, and that is what we had squirrel hunting in Southern Idaho with Jokers Wild Outdoors…
My boys and I went down to the Lemhi Valley to do some squirrel hunting with .22 rifles. It was an awesome trip that gave us tons of opportunity to do some shooting, spend time together and get ready for the upcoming big game season.
Shooting ground squirrels is not easy. Really small targets, limited exposure time and varying distances. But it created the chance to learn a lot and work on skills for the coming Deer and Elk season. And with everyone shooting suppressed rifles, it let us talk through shots, give feedback or congratulations, all in whispered tones without the need for ear pro.
The property at Jokers Wild Outdoors is amazing too. When not hunting my boys and I explored around, went fishing, caught a water snake, went swimming and saw all kinds of wildlife. There are so many antelope, deer, elk, bald eagles, hawks, badgers, you name it.
Overall, an incredible time spent with my boys…
